Notes: The Elliott House may be located in the middle of nowhere, but you will be in the middle of the great scenary. We provide electricity and Television services, but you will need to bring your own internet service. The house is 4 miles from the Village of Waddington and the St. Lawrence River and an 18 Golf Course. In Waddington you will also find eateries, liquor store and a small grocery store. You can purchase your fishing/ hunting license at the municipal building Monday through Friday 9am to 1pm. The Elliott House is about a 20 minutes drive from the following locations: Clarkson University, St. Lawrence University, S.U.N.Y Canton, and S.U.N.Y Potsdam. It is also the perfect "head-quarter" spot if you are trying to hit many destinations. Perfect day trips to the following places are only about 1.5 hours away: Lake Placid, Ottawa, Montreal, and 1000 Islands. If you are looking to find a place where you can get away from it all as well as the tourist traps, this is the place for you.
